The internet, for all its many faults, has been a tremendous source of community and has afforded us the opportunity to learn about, experience, and appreciate other cultures that has strengthened our common bonds as human beings. In Trek, people are separated by solar systems and the cross culture exposure is even more significant than anything we experience on earth.
